1965 Chevelle Evening Orchid Registry
In 1965 Chevrolet offered its Chevelle Malibu model in 15 different colors and 8 two-tone combinations, three of those colors Evening Orchid, Glacier Gray, and Crocus Yellow were only offered on the Super Sport model. Of the colors offered, 374,740 1965 Chevelle's were reported sold and only 5,075 or 1.4% were reported sold painted in Evening Orchid, in both hardtop and convertible.
This registry was created to get an idea of what is still left of these unusual but beautiful color cars.
